Dental fear is one of the most common fears and it is experienced by many people. Despite all the technological, psychological and scientific advancements, there is no other area of health care that people associate more with pain.
Alivia is a communication device between the patient and the dentist, with the aim of improving the experience at the dentist.
For relief, affected patients receive "Alivia", which is distracting, stress-absorbing and pressure-responsive. Low-threshold and intuitive, "Alivia" transmits the degree of pain to the doctor.
The communication processes
To familiarize themselves with the functions, patients receive an introduction from Alivia prior to treatment. In the treatment room, the wireless connection between the handheld device and the wristband is established.
